yesterday, a friend and i met with a fellow moymoypalaboy forumer aica. we went along with her to the hang-out of moymoypalaboy tandem. it's a computer shop owned by the duo's friend just near their home. this was the first time i was able to visit that place. the other forumers have been there several times already. when we got there around past 3 pm, some other forumers were already there and some blue marble boys too were present. blue marble boys, by the way, are friends to the duo. if you have been watching their videos, they are those guys dancing along with the duo in the background. i met dagtangLason, paeng to mention some. they are actually very accommodating and they welcomed me warmly. more forumers have come there too like unrivaled who came with a friend michelle. badette also came alongwith her friend jhem. oh before i forget, unrivaled brought us some food from mcdo... thanks for the burger and fries! xD
but what i really loved with my trip there was when i finally met rodfill (the other half of the moymoypalaboy duo). he hang-out with us there and we all had fun. we watched their new videos there, they played DOTA, we watched tv.... it was all fun. rodfill introduced me to his cousin who's a forumer too; cuppycakegod who's luis' sister.
i left the place around 8 pm shortly after rodfill bid his goodbye because they would be going to laguna (luis' place). but before he left, he shook hands with me. "nice meeting you chris" - he said. he also told me they will be going here in our place soon.
i got home around past 9 pm and i went online on the forums immediately. haha xD
it's always been a hobby of mine watching tv series, be it foreign or local (but of course i always find pleasure on watching foreign tv series). that include of course some asian drama or love stories. i don't know why but i enjoy watching such programs a lot. and lately, i've been following this taiwanese tv series called "Love at a Corner" who's starring (i'm sure you all very well know this girl) Barbie Hsu of the famous "meteor garden" series. well, i'm not here to talk about its story... i guess i'll just have to do that some other time. what i'm here for is to share you GMA 7's theme song alotment for that series. i find this song so relaxing and very much pleasant to hear. okay without any further adue, here's Sabrina singing an acoustic version of a vanessa carlton original... "A Thousand Miles"
Making my way downtown Walking fast Faces pass And I’m home bound
Staring blankly ahead Just making my way Making a way Through the crowd
And I need you And I miss you And now I wonder….
If I could fall Into the sky Do you think time Would pass me by ‘Cause you know I’d walk A thousand miles If I could Just see you Tonight
It’s always times like these When I think of you And I wonder If you ever Think of me
‘Cause every thing’s so wrong And I don’t belong Living in your Precious memory
‘Cause I need you And I miss you And now I wonder….
If I could fall Into the sky Do you think time Would pass me by ‘Cause you know I’d walk A thousand miles If I could Just see you Tonight
And I, I Don’t want to let you know I, I Drown in your memory I, I Don’t want to let this go I, I Don’t….
Making my way downtown Walking fast Faces pass And I’m home bound
Staring blankly ahead Just making my way Making a way Through the crowd
And I still need you And I still miss you And now I wonder….
If I could fall Into the sky Do you think time Would pass us by ‘Cause you know I’d walk A thousand miles If I could Just see you…
If I could fall Into the sky Do you think time Would pass me by ‘Cause you know I’d walk A thousand miles If I could Just see you If I could Just hold you Tonight
it's almost been a month now since i started applying for a government office. don't get me wrong, i'm not running for public office. what i mean is it's almost a month now since i applied in a government office. yes, i'm soon to be working with the government. today was actually the final stage of the processes that we all have to undergo. i must say it was quite grueling. but i think it's all worth it especially when you know you can make it through. it really feels good and quite rewarding knowing that after all those i went through, i can finally see the good results. hmm, wondering why did i apply for a new job? it's because of the "global financial crises". we all know that every company has been experiencing financial problems nowadays. and my current company is one of them. unfortunately, i will be one of those people who will be laid off as the company reduces its workforce due to their slumping financial status. of course i was worried when i first heard about it. i don't want myself to be part of the statistics of unemployed. so i immediately scoured through the limited job openings. luckily, i was able to meet an old friend and i happened to tell him about my search for a new job. perfectly, he has a good news. he said their office is hiring personnels for their expanding satellite offices around metro manila area. i never wasted anymore time. the following week, i went to their main office to apply. and now, almost a month later... i'm gonna be part of them!
i'll be meeting their head on monday, and it's time for signing of the contract!
thanks a lot for taking some time off your precious time to visit me here. to be honest, this is my very first official blog and so i hope you could bear with me on this one. i'm actually trying to discover if i got myself some writing skills hehe... again, my heartfelt gratitude for your visit!
i'm just a simple guy who's living a simple life. a music lover and a movie and tv addict. and sports is also part of that addiction.
not only i love watching it, but i also so so love doing it!
so that's basically all bout me!
by the way, call me Chris... ;)
