Goodbye 2009: A Year in Review

it's almost the end of the year. actually bukas New Year's Eve na naman. parang kailan lang andito rin ako around this time last year, feeling excited about the welcoming of 2009. now 2009 is over and i am bidding my
sweet good bye to the year it was.

2009, i must say, has become a good year to me. this is the year where i found
a better job that has given me different and exciting experiences. it is where i
met new people and new friends. although i spent the whole year being single, it didn't matter. i never even felt
cold nor i felt alone. my cool friends and my cool colleagues have made me feel
special and they kept me company for the entire year. i'm thankful to God for
giving them to my life. but i'm hoping sana next year, i'll be able to find that
special someone in my life. iba pa rin syempre kapag may isang tao na andyan
sa tabi mo giving you love and care. i think it's something that i missed most
this year.

this year also gave me some awesome entertainment. i've enjoyed the
movies shown this year. etong mga pelikulang ito ang naging libangan ko off my work schedules. Xmen Origins: Wolverine, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Up, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Monsters vs. Aliens, Star Trek, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and recently, Avatar are some of these movies.

this year is where we also witnessed some famous people bid their farewells.
people that were not necessarily related or close to me but people that have become influential to the everyone in their own ways. we saw the passing
this year of the King of Pop Michael Jackson, Farah Fawcett,
David Carradine [Kill Bill], Steve McNair [NFL QB], Patrick Swayze,
US Senator Ted Kennedy, and just a few days ago Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy. Our own Master Rapper Francis M also left us this year.

we were also rocked by streak of storms this year that left us bruised and
battered. a lot of our kababayans were left homeless and some of them
even lost their loved ones to the massive floodings caused by these storms.

but despite all of these, we're still lucky to be here and still alive. and
we are welcoming another year full of hopes and dreams. i am praying that
this year will be a better year for everyone of us para lahat tayo happy.

...and sana we will have the leader that will truly lead us to progress and
prosperity. God Bless us all!!!

Happy New Year!!
Welcome 2010
